  • Multi-sensory phonics games and activities resource

    The HIAS English Team are pleased to launch our latest high quality product for schools.  This fully downloadable resource consists of:

    • 12 x multi-sensory games / activities with clear ideas for variation and securing phonic understanding.  The aim is that these games and activities will become a regular part of a teacher’s repertoire and firmly embedded within classroom phonics practice. 
    • Teacher guidance document
    • A link to a 20 minute HIAS pre recorded training webinar to support schools in successfully launching the resource that can be accessed at any time


    Recent DfE guidance relating to the teaching of phonics and early reading identifies the following: Activities must be high quality, practical, efficient and focused on the main goal – reading and spelling using phonics. Children enjoy well-designed activities that focus on phonics. They feel successful and recognise that they are learning to read and write.’

    This product has been created with these ‘welldesigned’ activities in mind. The purpose of the resource is to focus on the main goal – reading and spelling using phonics. These resources have been designed for flexible classroom use and are applicable to any school’s chosen phonics programme.
