• This year, we have been updating our learning journey planning guidance for Year 1 in the light of the recommendations from The Writing Framework, placing a much stronger emphasis on transcription elements and keeping sequences shorter and more accessible so that children are asked to do less, but do it better. 

  The Boy Who Sailed The World learning journey is in the new style and follows the planning approach we now recommend to schools - there are more like this within Moodle+.

  The Three Little Pigs learning journey is one of our older plans which continues to be used in some schools and is still a popular text driver.

  How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth is a learning journey leading to instruction writing that has proved popular with staff and pupils alike.
