• Please find below some examples of planning following the HIAS learning journey approach.  These plans have been created by HIAS English advisers during their work in schools.  They are specific to the cohort and therefore based on prior learning and AfL. The plans uploaded here are ones that we know have become popular in schools.

  If you are interested in using the model and want more examples, a number of learning journeys with guidance materials are available for each year group, including a growing collection of planning for mixed-age classes, through subscription to Moodle+ .
