This series of documents have been developed to support you in providing clear explanations around familiar tasks that allow pupils to engage in learning without the teacher present.

The PowerPoint slides should be adapted by class teachers to support pupil’s understanding.

The examples used could be replaced with familiar teacher models from previous learning.  The class teacher could also add a voice over to remind children of the expectations around the familiar task prior to introducing new learning.
