Struggling to engage boys in reading?
The School Library Service are holding a reading conference with keynote speaker Gary Wilson, an independent reading consultant, and the author, Mini Grey.
The course will set in context the full complexity of why boys underachieve in schools and explore in detail what teachers of literacy in primary schools, and school librarians can do to help.
It will also cover a wide range of whole school strategies that will enable all members of the school community to contribute towards raising boys’ achievement and engaging them in reading.
